What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Physical Therapist (Outpatient) to deliver family-centered pediatric physical therapy in an outpatient setting. You will manage an assigned caseload, provide evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient mobility, function, and participation.

  • Perform complete histories, systems reviews, and appropriate tests and measures.
  • Evaluate findings to develop clinical diagnoses and individualized plans of care for pediatric patients; seek guidance for complex cases.
  • Deliver procedural interventions and adaptive equipment recommendations with mentorship as needed.
  • Provide family-centered education, set collaborative goals, and document care thoroughly and timely.
  • Select and apply outcome measures to monitor progress and adjust plans of care or transitions.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and communicate progress with families, physicians, and team members.
  • Provide clinical education and mentorship for students and support department education efforts.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, program development, and department policies as appropriate.
  • Maintain productivity, fiscal responsibility, and compliance with departmental documentation standards.

Qualifications

Education

  • Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy required. (Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy licensed prior to 12/31/2002 will be accepted.)

Experience

  • Pediatric experience preferred but not required; entry-level applicants demonstrating strong clinical judgment and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state(s) required for practice — see important note below on state licensure.
  • Current CPR certification from an organization requiring instructor-led psychomotor skills verification (e.g., American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Compensation & Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Salary range: $76,100 – $97,000 annually (range provided by the client).
  • Schedule: Day shift (outpatient clinic schedule). Compensation and benefits may vary based on experience, credentials, and clinic location.

Location & Employment Details

  • Role is for Confidential Client’s outpatient pediatric services. Location: United States (applicants should confirm the specific clinic/site during the hiring process).
  • Employment subject to verification of credentials, required state licensure for the location of practice, and background checks as permitted by law.
