About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring a Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join an outpatient clinic in New York, NY. This is an onsite, patient-facing role focused on assessing, treating, and improving function for a diverse caseload (pediatrics, adults, and seniors). The role emphasizes evidence-based care, hands-on techniques, and excellent documentation within EHR systems.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, stretching, and other evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor and document patient progress, modifying plans as needed to meet goals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, assistive devices, and safe functional strategies.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Participate in professional development (workshops, societies) and contribute to clinic education.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments for musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
• Create and implement goal-driven treatment programs.
• Use EHR to record evaluations, treatments, outcomes, and discharge summaries.
• Provide family/patient training on exercises and assistive devices.
• Maintain caseload organization, timely documentation, and compliance with clinic policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (or applicable professional degree as required by state).
• Current New York State license in Physical Therapy or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using modern therapeutic tools and EHR software.
• Flexibility to adapt to varied patient needs and schedules.

Preferred Experience

• Prior outpatient clinical experience or internships.
• Experience treating pediatrics or geriatrics.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: USD 90,000 - 105,000 per year.
