What You’ll Do

Confidential Client seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver patient-centered outpatient care in the North Palm Beach, FL area. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans, monitor progress, and coordinate with the care team to maximize functional recovery.

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Interpret physician plans and supervise patient treatments in accordance with referrals.
• Use therapeutic modalities (exercise, manual therapy, heat/cold, electrical stimulation, aquatics as indicated) to reduce pain and restore function.
• Teach patients safe body mechanics, home exercise programs, and strategies to prevent injury.
• Document each patient visit accurately and in compliance with departmental policies and billing requirements.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and recommend continuation or modification of therapy to the referring physician.
• Maintain and care for equipment; steward supplies economically.
• Assist in on-the-job training of ancillary personnel.

Schedule & Work Locations

• Day/evening rotation: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• This position requires flexibility to cover multiple outpatient clinic locations across Palm Beach County as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate; graduate of a Physical Therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (or equivalent international degree).
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Internship or supervised clinical experience in physical therapy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient physical therapy experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity to patients managing pain or reduced function.
• Good documentation and billing practice familiarity.

• Follows Standard Precautions and uses personal protective equipment as required for procedures.

Compensation

• Estimated salary shown on third-party job sites: $100,725 per year (estimated). Exact compensation and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process. Careertakes and our client do not fabricate pay ranges; candidates are encouraged to discuss salary during interviews.
