What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a part-time role in Lawrence, KS. As the Physical Therapist you will provide patient-centered physical therapy evaluation, treatment and education, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

  • Performs patient assessment and establishes and documents an individualized plan of care
  • Provides physical therapy interventions and modalities in accordance with physician orders and departmental policies
  • Monitors and documents patient progress; adjusts treatment plans to meet goals
  • Educates patients, families and caregivers on treatment, home programs and safety
  • Communicates effectively with physicians, nurses and interdisciplinary team members
  • Participates in continuous performance improvement and quality initiatives
  • Accepts additional responsibilities to support team and patient needs
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance

Estimated pay (source): $80,916 per year (estimated)


Qualifications

  • Entry-level Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Physical Therapist license issued by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (active and in good standing)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Strong communication, documentation and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to support a patient-focused, improvement-oriented workplace
