What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Physical Therapist I to join their outpatient rehabilitation team in Simpsonville, MD. In this role you will evaluate, plan, and deliver evidence-based physical therapy care — with opportunities to work in pelvic health and orthopedic outpatient settings.
- Provide evaluation, program planning, and treatment for patients referred to Physical Therapy
- Document evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and patient education
- Educate patients, families, staff, and students on treatment goals and home programs
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical research, and professional development activities
- Coordinate care and make appropriate recommendations to medical providers to help patients reach their maximum potential
Qualifications
- Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master’s Degree, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current State licensure as a Physical Therapist (MD licensure required prior to hire)
- AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- 1 year of Physical Therapist experience preferred
- Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program
- Knowledge or interest in Pelvic Health and Orthopedic outpatient care
- Strong documentation, clinical reasoning, and patient-education skills
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland (required)
- AHA Healthcare Provider CPR (required)
Location & Shift
- Location: Simpsonville, MD (on-site outpatient clinic)
- Shift: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- The Hospital/responsible employer reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly range: $34.62 — $57.19 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and equity.
