What You’ll Do
You will provide high-quality physical therapy services for inpatients and outpatients, delivering assessment, individualized treatment planning, implementation, follow-up and discharge planning in partnership with patients and families. Working as part of a clinical team, you will help maintain department operations, support performance improvement, and assist with student and volunteer supervision as needed.
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations (physical and cognitive) and document findings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Provide ongoing progress documentation (initial evaluation, daily/weekly progress notes, discharge summaries).
- Participate in patient-care conferences, family education, and interdisciplinary meetings.
- Counsel patients and families on treatment, expected outcomes and home programs.
- Supervise and coordinate Physical Therapy/Physical Therapist Assistant student experiences and volunteer activities.
- Support department orientation, scheduling, and staff supervision to ensure effective patient coverage.
- Participate in performance improvement, community referral networking, and department education.
- Adapt care to meet age-specific, cultural, psychological and developmental needs.
- Foster professional relationships with medical staff and referral sources.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or entry-level Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- License: Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Texas Executive Council of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners (required).
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; clinical competence with patients of varied ages and diagnoses is expected.
- Clinical skills: Ability to use all modalities/equipment appropriate for a Physical Therapist per relevant regulatory guidance.
- Health checks: Successful completion of pre-employment / post-offer health screening and required annual screenings.

- Employment type: Part-time.
Compensation
- Estimated pay: $74,412 per year (estimated). Actual pay may vary based on experience, shift, and site.
