Position overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for adult patients in an acute/inpatient setting. This role focuses on evaluations, therapeutic interventions, care-plan development, and patient/caregiver instruction. Candidates must hold an active Nevada Physical Therapy license.

What You’ll Do

• Provide evaluations and skilled treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional standards.
• Assess therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and contribute to development and updating of individualized care plans.
• Deliver purposeful therapeutic care consistent with the treating physician’s plan of care.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, assistive devices, and home programs.
• Prioritize caseloads, coordinate daily staffing needs and manage handoffs to ensure continuity of care.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, progress, and discharge recommendations per facility policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy required (or degree as required by state law).
• Active Nevada state licensure from the Board of Physical Therapy required.
• One to two years’ experience in a hospital/acute care setting preferred; entry-level graduates will be considered.
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and maintain patient-centered focus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary estimate (provided): Hourly $46.17 - $69.26 (estimate). Estimated annual pay shown on source: $90,654 per year — actual pay may vary based on experience, credentials, location, and schedule.
