Position overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Physical Security Coordinator to support physical security technology, compliance, reporting, and administrative functions. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want hands-on experience in corporate security operations, compliance, and data management. The position is based in Minerva Park, OH.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update physical security records, inventories, tracking systems, and documentation.
  • Perform data entry, validation, and quality-assurance reviews to ensure accurate records.
  • Support badge access reviews, compliance audits, and governance activities.
  • Generate reports, metrics, and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Assist with SharePoint site administration and document management.
  • Track projects, status updates, and action items; support project coordination tasks.
  • Assist with inventory management and asset tracking for physical security technologies.
  • Identify data discrepancies and support corrective actions and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of professional experience (entry-level candidates encouraged).
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities independently and work across teams.
  • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SharePoint administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or Power Automate.
  • Experience working with large data sets and producing reports.
  • Exposure to audits, compliance programs, records management, or project coordination.
  • Internship experience in corporate security, compliance, facilities, or related operations.
