What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Personal Financial Planner to join a growing advisory team in Westboro, NJ. This role is ideal for a coachable, service-oriented candidate who wants training, hands-on client work, and real earning potential through commission-based compensation.

• Be trained to serve as a trusted financial advisor for new and prospective clients.
• Proactively source, qualify, and onboard new clients through outreach and referral activities.
• Meet with clients to gather financial data and compile individualized financial profiles.
• Develop and present tailored financial plans and recommendations (products, investment strategies, budgets) that align with client goals and life stage.
• Monitor client plans and adjust recommendations as circumstances evolve.
• Use CRM, financial planning software, and standard office tools to document activity and manage client relationships.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Compensation & Benefits

• Commission-based compensation with an expected range of $80,000 - $135,000 per year (commission structure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field required.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CRM systems, and financial planning software.
• Working knowledge of financial products and the role/responsibilities of a personal financial advisor.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63/66 licenses preferred but not required; company will support training for licensing where applicable.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, and numeracy skills.
• Coachable, organized, and motivated to pursue development and client-facing opportunities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
