What You’ll Do
The Personal Banker (SAFE Act) supports branch sales and client service activities to grow customer relationships and drive retail banking product adoption.
- Work with business credit requests under $250,000 and refer larger lending opportunities to the appropriate teams
- Cross-sell treasury and related small-business products to deepen client relationships
- Build referral pipelines through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member programs
- Execute outbound and inbound client outreach to acquire new relationships and expand existing ones
- Coach and advise tellers and branch staff on product features, special programs, and referral opportunities
- Identify client transaction and service needs and educate clients on digital channels and tools
- Leverage marketing and technology tools to uncover and present product offers and financial solutions
- Follow internal policies, procedures and compliance requirements; escalate control issues and manage risk appropriately
What We’re Looking For
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (banking, retail, or sales experience preferred)
- NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance (required)
- Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and digital channels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-focused sales orientation and ability to deliver a remarkable client experience
- Good judgment with respect to risk, compliance and protecting client and firm assets
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range (Primary Location, Full Time): $58,190 — $81,210 per year
- In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentives or retention awards
