What You’ll Do
The Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Personal Banker (SAFE Act) to join a branch sales and client-service team. This role focuses on building customer relationships, supporting small business lending under $250K, and driving product cross-sell to deepen client relationships. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking is preferred.
- Work with business credit requests less than $250,000 and refer larger lending opportunities
- Cross-sell treasury and small-business banking products
- Build referral sources through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member programs
- Execute outbound and inbound client outreach to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones
- Coach tellers and branch staff on products, special programs, and referral opportunities
- Educate clients on service and digital channels; leverage technology and marketing tools to present financial solutions
- Apply policy- and risk-based judgment to protect the firm, clients, and assets; escalate and report control issues transparently
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (banking, retail, or sales experience preferred)
- SAFE Act / NMLS registration and compliance required
- Familiarity with digital or “smart” banking tools and technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver exceptional client service
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
