What You’ll Do
The Personal Banker (SAFE Act) is an entry-level branch sales role focused on delivering excellent client service while helping grow deposit and small-business relationships. Working with branch teams, you will identify client needs, execute cross-sell strategies, and support day-to-day branch sales activities.
- Work with business credit requests under $250,000 and identify/refer larger lending opportunities
- Cross-sell treasury and small business products to deepen client relationships
- Build referral pipelines through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member Get Member (MGM) initiatives
- Support strategies to grow small business clients and execute sales plans for assigned Book of Business customers
- Conduct outbound and inbound client outreach to acquire new relationships and expand product penetration
- Coach and guide tellers and branch staff on products, special programs, and referral opportunities
- Educate clients on digital and self-service channels; use technology and marketing tools to surface offers
- Present appropriate product offers and financial solutions that meet client needs
- Follow policies, procedures and regulatory requirements; escalate and report control issues transparently
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; entry-level candidates encouraged
- Previous retail, banking, or sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of smart banking tools and branch technologies
- NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to risk, compliance and ethical conduct
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Primary location full-time salary range: $61,280 – $85,520 per year
- In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary/formulaic incentive and retention awards
