Responsibilities

This branch-facing Personal Banker (SAFE Act) role focuses on client acquisition, relationship building, and support for small-business and consumer clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Work with business credit requests under $250,000 and refer larger lending opportunities to appropriate teams
• Cross-sell treasury and related small-business products to deepen client relationships
• Build referral pipelines through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member Get Member (MGM) programs
• Deliver excellent client service via outbound and inbound calls and in-branch interactions to acquire and grow relationships
• Coach and support tellers and branch staff on products, promotions, and client referrals
• Identify customer transaction needs, demonstrate digital service options, and present product/financial solutions
• Follow all policies, procedures and risk/compliance requirements in decision-making and client interactions

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience; previous banking, retail or sales experience preferred
• NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required
• Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and digital channels
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-focused with a track record of delivering service and meeting sales objectives

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Primary location full-time salary range (as provided): $54,100 – $75,500 per year
• In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary or formulaic incentives. Benefits may include medical, dental & vision, 401(k), life/accident/disability insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Offerings vary by jurisdiction and employment status.
