What You’ll Do

This entry-level Personal Banker role (SAFE Act / NMLS-compliant) supports branch sales and customer service to build relationships and grow individual and small business accounts. Responsibilities include:

• Work with business credit requests under $250,000 and refer larger lending opportunities
• Cross-sell treasury, small business, and retail banking products to deepen client relationships
• Generate referral business through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member programs
• Execute outbound and inbound client outreach to acquire new relationships and expand existing accounts
• Coach and advise tellers and branch staff on products, promotions, and client referral opportunities
• Educate clients on digital channels and leverage banking technology and marketing tools
• Follow internal policies, comply with applicable laws and regulations, and escalate control issues transparently
• Accurately assess risk and safeguard client and firm assets in everyday decision-making

Qualifications

• 0–2 years relevant experience; previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred
• NMLS registration / SAFE Act compliance required
• Familiarity with modern digital banking tools and CRM systems
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation and sales aptitude
• Ability to coach peers and collaborate across branch teams

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (Primary Location, Full-Time): $58,190 — $81,210 per year
• In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards
