What You’ll Do

This entry-level Personal Banker (SAFE Act) role supports branch sales and client service activities to attract and deepen consumer and small-business relationships. Responsibilities include:

  • Work with business credit requests under $250,000; identify and refer larger lending opportunities and cross-sell treasury/small business products.
  • Build referral opportunities via Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member programs.
  • Help grow small-business clients by supporting sales plans targeted at the branch Book of Business.
  • Perform client outreach (inbound and outbound), open new relationships, and cross-sell relevant financial products while delivering an excellent client experience.
  • Coach and advise tellers and branch staff on products, promotions, and client referral opportunities.
  • Identify client transaction and channel needs; educate customers on service and digital channels and present financial solutions.
  • Follow company policies and regulatory requirements; assess and escalate risk, and help safeguard the firm, its clients and assets.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years relevant experience; previous banking, retail or sales experience preferred.
  • NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required.
  • Familiarity with digital/“smart” banking tools and sales-driven branch workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer-focused mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow policies, exercise sound judgement, and escalate control issues when needed.

  • Primary location full-time salary range: $61,280.00 - $85,520.00 per year (range provided by the hiring organization).
