Responsibilities
The Personal Banker (SAFE Act) supports branch sales and customer service activities to grow relationships, deepen client engagement, and deliver a remarkable client experience. This is an entry-level role focused on both consumer and small business clients.
- Work with small business credit requests under $250,000 and identify/refer larger lending needs
- Cross-sell treasury, deposit, and related small business products
- Build referral opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member (MGM) initiatives
- Execute outbound and inbound client outreach to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones
- Coach and advise tellers and branch staff on product features, promotions, and referral opportunities
- Educate clients on service and digital channels, leverage marketing and technology tools to uncover opportunities, and present financial solutions
- Follow all policies, controls, and compliance standards; escalate and report control issues transparently
- Apply sound ethical judgment in decisions that affect the firm’s reputation and client assets
Qualifications
- 0–2 years relevant experience; prior banking, retail, or sales experience preferred
- SAFE Act compliant — NMLS registration required
- Knowledge of smart banking tools and digital client channels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

- Salary range: $50,600 - $70,600 per year (full-time)
