What You’ll Do

The Personal Banker SAFE Act (entry-level) supports branch sales and customer service activities to build and deepen retail banking relationships. You will foster client loyalty, identify client needs, and recommend appropriate financial products that meet those needs while delivering exceptional service.

• Work with business credit requests under $250,000 and identify/refer larger lending needs
• Cross-sell deposit, treasury and small business products to retail and small business clients
• Generate referral opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and member-get-member programs
• Conduct outbound and inbound client calls to acquire new customers and deepen existing relationships
• Coach tellers and branch staff on product features and referral tactics
• Use digital and in-branch tools to educate clients on service channels and uncover sales opportunities
• Follow internal policies, comply with applicable laws and escalate control issues when necessary

Responsibilities

• Support daily branch sales goals and assist with execution of sales plans for assigned book of business
• Identify and qualify new sales opportunities and deliver product offers/financial solutions
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure follow-up on referrals and leads
• Demonstrate strong attention to operational risk, compliance and client confidentiality
• Represent the branch professionally in all client interactions

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience; previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred
• NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required
• Knowledge of digital banking/Smart Banking tools and retail banking products
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work in a branch environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $61,280 - $85,520 per year (salary range provided by the confidential client)
• In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
• Benefits may include medical, dental & vision coverage; 401(k); life, accident, and disability insurance; paid time off; and wellness programs. Benefit offerings may vary by jurisdiction, job level, and date of hire.
