What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level branch Personal Banker role (SAFE Act compliant) supporting branch sales, client service, and small-business referral activities. You will work with customers to build relationships, identify needs, and present appropriate financial products while delivering an exceptional client experience.

• Support consumer and small-business clients by delivering service, answering inbound calls and making outbound relationship-building calls
• Work with business credit requests under $250,000 and recognize/refer larger lending opportunities
• Cross-sell treasury and related small-business products to deepen client relationships
• Build referral opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member (MGM) programs
• Assist in executing sales plans to grow targeted Books of Business
• Coach tellers and branch staff on products, special programs, and digital channels to improve client outcomes
• Educate clients on digital and self-service channels and use available marketing/technology tools to uncover opportunities
• Present product offers and financial solutions aligned to client needs
• Follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; escalate and report control issues transparently
• Apply sound ethical judgment and prioritize the protection of client and firm assets

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience; previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred
• NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-focused with the ability to identify sales opportunities and close relationships
• Demonstrated ability to follow process, assess risk, and escalate issues appropriately

• Bachelor’s degree or university degree preferred, or equivalent experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (full-time): $61,280 – $85,520 per year (base salary)
• In addition to base pay, eligible employees may receive discretionary or formulaic incentive awards
• Typical benefits may include medical, dental & vision, 401(k), life/accident/disability insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Available offerings may vary by jurisdiction and date of hire.
