What You’ll Do

The Personal Banker (SAFE Act) is an entry-level retail banking role focused on delivering outstanding client service while supporting branch sales goals and regulatory compliance. You will work with customers to grow relationships, identify needs, and present appropriate financial solutions.

• Work with business credit requests under $250,000 and refer larger lending opportunities
• Cross-sell treasury, deposit, and related small-business products
• Build referral pipelines through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member programs
• Support growth strategies for small business and consumer clients and execute targeted outreach plans
• Conduct outbound and inbound client outreach to acquire new relationships and deepen existing relationships
• Coach and advise tellers and branch staff on product features, special programs, and appropriate referrals
• Identify client transaction and channel needs; promote digital and self-service tools to improve client experience
• Use available marketing and digital tools to uncover sales opportunities and present financial product offers
• Follow Confidential Client policies, controls, and regulatory requirements; escalate compliance and control issues promptly
• Maintain NMLS SAFE Act compliance for applicable mortgage-related activities

Qualifications

• 0–2 years relevant experience; previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred
• Familiarity with retail banking platforms and Smart Banking tools
• NMLS registration / SAFE Act compliance required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Demonstrated ability to assess risk and act in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Primary salary range (full-time): $58,190 - $81,210 per year
• In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in discretionary and formulaic incentive programs
• Typical benefits (may vary by jurisdiction and hire date): medical, dental & vision, 401(k), life/accident/disability insurance, wellness programs, paid time off and paid holidays
