What You’ll Do
The Personal Banker (SAFE Act) is an entry-level branch sales role focused on building strong customer relationships and supporting growth of the retail and small business client base. Working with branch teams, you will deliver excellent client experiences while identifying and referring opportunities for lending, treasury, and other bank products.
- Work with business credit requests under $250K; identify and refer larger lending opportunities
- Cross-sell treasury and small business products to deepen client relationships
- Build referral channels through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member (MGM) programs
- Execute targeted sales plans to grow a book of business
- Perform outbound and inbound client outreach to acquire and expand relationships
- Coach tellers and branch staff on products, special programs, and appropriate client referrals
- Educate clients on transaction needs, digital channels, and Smart Banking tools
- Follow policies, procedures and proactively manage risk and compliance
Qualifications
- 0–2 years relevant experience; previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred
- NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required
- Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and technologies
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Strong client service orientation and ability to meet sales goals
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Primary location full-time salary range: $50,600 – $70,600 per year (posted for Miramar, FL)
- In addition to salary, the Confidential Client may offer discretionary and formulaic incentive awards and competitive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life/accident/disability insurance, paid time off, holidays). Offerings vary by jurisdiction and role.
