What You’ll Do

The Personal Banker (SAFE Act) supports branch sales and client service efforts to grow deposit and small-business relationships while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Work with business credit requests under $250,000 and refer larger lending opportunities to appropriate teams.
• Cross-sell treasury, lending and related small-business products to deepen customer relationships.
• Build referral pipelines through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member programs.
• Implement local sales plans and strategies to grow a designated Book of Business.
• Deliver client-facing activities including outbound and inbound calls to acquire new relationships and expand existing ones.
• Coach Tellers and branch staff on products, special programs and client needs; make appropriate referrals.
• Educate clients on service and digital channels and use available marketing and technology tools to identify opportunities and present financial solutions.
• Follow policies and procedures; assess and escalate risk and control issues; act in ways that protect the firm, clients and assets.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Previous banking, retail, or direct-sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of contemporary digital/smart-banking tools and client-facing technologies.
• NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
• Demonstrated attention to compliance, risk awareness and ethical decision-making.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• NMLS registration (SAFE Act) — required prior to or upon hire as specified by the client.

Compensation & Benefits

• Primary location full-time salary range: $61,280 — $85,520 per year.
• In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive/retention awards.
• Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life/accident/disability insurance, wellness programs, and paid time off. Offerings vary by jurisdiction and role.
