What You’ll Do
The Personal Banker (SAFE Act) will support branch sales and service activities to deepen customer relationships, increase product adoption, and deliver an exceptional client experience at a Milpitas branch.
- Work with business credit requests under $250,000 and identify/refer larger lending opportunities.
- Cross-sell treasury and small-business products; build wallet share across customer accounts.
- Generate referral opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member (MGM) initiatives.
- Execute outbound and inbound client outreach to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones.
- Coach tellers and branch staff on product features, special programs, and referral opportunities.
- Educate clients on digital and branch service channels and present appropriate financial solutions.
- Follow company policies, regulatory standards, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Appropriately assess risk and escalate control issues; act to safeguard the firm, clients, and assets.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
- NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required.
- Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and digital client channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality client service and meet sales objectives.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Primary location full-time salary range (Milpitas, CA): $61,280 — $85,520 per year.
- In addition to base pay, eligible employees may receive incentives and retention awards.
