What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Personal Banker (SAFE Act) to support branch sales and client relationships in Manhattan, NY. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, acquiring and deepening client relationships, and working with small business and consumer clients under SAFE Act/NMLS requirements.
- Work with business credit requests under $250K; identify and refer larger lending opportunities and cross-sell treasury and small-business products
- Build referral pipelines via Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member Get Member (MGM) programs
- Implement sales strategies to grow assigned Book of Business and target small business clients
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones through cross-sell of relevant products
- Coach and guide tellers and branch staff on products, special programs, and client referral processes
- Educate clients on transaction needs and digital channels, leveraging available technology and marketing tools to present financial solutions
- Follow Confidential Client policies, standards, and procedures; assess risk and escalate control issues when appropriate
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred
- NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required
- Familiarity with smart banking tools and digital channels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-focused with the ability to identify needs and recommend appropriate products
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Primary location full-time salary range (Manhattan, NY): $61,280 — $85,520 per year
- In addition to base salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentives and retention awards.
