Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Personal Banker (SAFE Act / NMLS-compliant) to join the branch sales team in Lakeville Estates, NY. This role focuses on delivering excellent client service while identifying and cross-selling banking products, supporting small business credit requests under $250K, and helping grow the branch book of business.

What You’ll Do

• Work with business credit requests under $250,000 and refer larger lending opportunities
• Cross-sell treasury, small business, and retail banking products to deepen client relationships
• Build referral pipelines through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member (MGM) initiatives
• Conduct inbound and outbound client outreach to acquire new relationships and increase product penetration
• Coach and support branch staff (tellers and colleagues) on product features and referral opportunities
• Educate clients on service and digital channels; present digital and product solutions to meet client needs
• Follow internal policies and regulatory requirements; escalate control issues and manage risk to protect the firm and clients

Qualifications

• 0–2 years relevant experience (banking, retail, or sales experience preferred)
• SAFE Act compliant with active NMLS registration
• Familiarity with branch and smart-banking tools and digital channels
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-focused with a willingness to learn sales and lending fundamentals
• Demonstrated ethical judgment and ability to follow policy and regulatory guidance

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (Primary location, full-time): $61,280.00 - $85,520.00 per year
• In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary or formulaic incentive/retention awards
