What You’ll Do
The Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Personal Banker (SAFE Act) to join the North Hills branch team in Lakeville Estates, NY. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, growing consumer and small business relationships, and supporting branch sales and operations while complying with applicable regulations.
- Work with business credit requests under $250,000; recognize and refer larger lending opportunities
- Cross-sell treasury and related small-business products and services
- Generate referral opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member Get Member (MGM) programs
- Execute sales plans to grow and deepen relationships within an assigned book of business
- Deliver exceptional client service via inbound and outbound calls and in-branch interactions
- Coach and support tellers and branch staff on product offerings and special programs
- Educate clients on digital and self-service channels and leverage marketing/technology tools to identify opportunities
- Present appropriate product offers and financial solutions based on client needs
- Understand and adhere to bank policies, standards and procedures, assessing risk and escalating control issues as required
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in banking, retail, or sales preferred
- Knowledge of smart banking tools and digital channels
- NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and recommend suitable products
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Primary location full-time salary range: $58,190.00 - $81,210.00 per year
- In addition to base salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards
