Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Personal Banker (SAFE Act compliant) to support branch sales and customer service efforts. This position focuses on building customer relationships, increasing product penetration, and supporting small business and consumer banking activities while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with small business credit requests under $250K; identify and refer larger lending opportunities.
• Cross-sell banking products (treasury, deposit, lending) to deepen client relationships.
• Build referral pipelines through Centers of Influence (COIs) and customer referral programs.
• Support outbound and inbound outreach to acquire new customers and deepen existing relationships.
• Coach and guide tellers and branch staff on product offerings, programs, and client referrals.
• Educate clients on service and digital channels; leverage technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities.
• Follow Confidential Client policies, standards, and procedures; escalate and report control issues appropriately.
• Exercise sound judgment in assessing and mitigating risk to protect the firm, clients, and assets.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of related experience; previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
• NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required.
• Familiarity with smart banking tools and digital channels.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-focused with a goal-driven sales mindset.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $61,280 — $85,520 per year.
• This role may also be eligible for discretionary and formulaic incentive awards where applicable.
• Confidential Client’s benefit offerings may include medical, dental & vision coverage, retirement savings, life/accident/disability insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Available offerings may vary by jurisdiction and job level.
