What You’ll Do
The Personal Banker (SAFE Act) is an entry-level, branch-based role focused on driving client acquisition, deepening existing relationships, and supporting small-business needs while ensuring SAFE Act and internal compliance. You will work with branch teams to deliver a high-quality client experience and identify sales opportunities.
- Work with business credit requests under $250,000; identify and refer larger lending opportunities and cross-sell treasury and related small-business products.
- Build referral business through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member‑Get‑Member (MGM) programs.
- Support strategies to grow small-business clients and implement sales plans for assigned book of business.
- Deliver client service via outbound and inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones through cross-sell of relevant products.
- Coach and guide tellers and branch staff on products, special programs, and referral processes.
- Recognize client transaction needs, educate clients on service and digital channels, and leverage technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities and present financial solutions.
- Understand and comply with Confidential Client policies, standards, and procedures.
- Appropriately assess risk in business decisions; safeguard Confidential Client, its clients and assets by following laws, regulations and policy, and escalate control issues transparently.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
- NMLS registration; SAFE Act compliant.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (or university degree) or equivalent experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $58,190.00 - $81,210.00 per year.
- In addition to salary, Confidential Client may offer discretionary and formulaic incentive or retention awards where applicable.
