Position Overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Personal Banker (SAFE Act) to join a retail branch team in Campbell, CA. This entry-level branch sales role focuses on building and deepening consumer and small-business relationships through exceptional service, cross‑sell of banking products, and compliance with SAFE Act / NMLS requirements.


What You’ll Do

  • Work directly with consumers and small-business clients to identify needs and present appropriate banking, lending, and treasury solutions.
  • Support business credit requests under $250,000 and refer larger lending opportunities to specialists.
  • Drive referral generation through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member (MGM) programs.
  • Conduct outbound and inbound client outreach to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones.
  • Coach and advise tellers and branch staff on product features, special programs, and referral processes.
  • Educate clients on transaction services and digital channels; use technology and marketing tools to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Follow all internal policies and regulatory requirements; apply sound risk assessment and report control issues transparently.
  • Maintain NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance where applicable.

Who We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience; previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with retail banking products, small-business banking, and branch sales processes.
  • NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance (required).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using digital banking tools and CRM systems.
  • Customer-focused, ethical, and able to apply sound judgment when assessing risk.

Education & Schedule

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Typical schedule (subject to business needs): Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm with rotating Saturday coverage (e.g., 9:30am–2:30pm).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range (Primary location, full-time): $61,280 — $85,520 per year.
  • In addition to base pay, eligible employees may receive discretionary or formulaic incentives.
  • Benefits may include medical, dental & vision coverage, 401(k), life/accident/disability insurance, wellness programs, and paid time off. Package details may vary by jurisdiction and hire date.
