What You’ll Do
The Personal Banker (SAFE Act) supports branch sales and customer service activities to build loyalty, deepen relationships, and drive account growth for retail and small-business clients. This role focuses on client-facing conversations, cross-selling relevant products, and supporting branch staff.
- Work with business credit requests under $250,000 and identify/refer larger lending opportunities
- Cross-sell treasury, deposit, and small-business products to deepen relationships
- Drive referral business through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member Get Member (MGM) programs
- Conduct outbound and inbound client outreach to acquire new relationships and expand existing ones
- Coach tellers and branch staff on product features, special programs, and referral best practices
- Educate clients on digital channels and leverage technology and marketing tools to present appropriate financial solutions
- Follow policies and procedures, assess and escalate risk and control issues, and maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Deliver an outstanding client experience with professionalism and ethical judgment
Qualifications
- 0–2 years relevant experience (banking, retail, or sales preferred)
- NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required
- Knowledge of modern digital banking tools and sales-driven branch processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven customer-service orientation and ability to identify client needs
- Korean-speaking candidates preferred (but not required)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Primary full-time salary range (as provided): $58,190.00 — $81,210.00 per year
- Estimated midpoint: ~$79,200 per year (source estimate)
