What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Personal Banker (SAFE Act) to join the branch sales team. This is an entry-level, client-facing role focused on relationship building, sales, and delivering outstanding service.
- Work with consumer and small-business clients; handle business credit requests under $250,000 and refer larger opportunities
- Cross-sell deposit, treasury and related small-business products to deepen client relationships
- Generate referrals through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member programs
- Make outbound and field inbound calls to acquire new relationships and grow existing ones
- Coach tellers and branch staff on product features, promotions, and referral opportunities
- Educate clients on digital and branch service channels and leverage technology and marketing tools to surface offers
- Follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; make risk-aware decisions and escalate control issues as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 0–2 years relevant experience; banking, retail, or sales experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred
- Comfortable with basic sales processes and client outreach
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with modern banking tools and digital channels
- NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance required
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- NMLS registration (SAFE Act) required prior to performing regulated mortgage activities
Compensation & Benefits
- Primary full-time salary range: $50,600 — $70,600 per year (pay range provided by the client)
- Eligible employees may also receive discretionary and formulaic incentive or retention awards
