Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Personal Banker (SAFE Act) to work at a branch-focused role supporting consumer and small business clients in Mount Pleasant, SC. This role helps deliver excellent customer service, grow relationships through cross-selling, and support branch sales goals while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations (Safe Act / NMLS requirements).

What You’ll Do

• Work with business credit requests under $250,000 and identify or refer larger lending opportunities.
• Cross-sell treasury and related small-business products to deepen client relationships.
• Build referral opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member programs.
• Execute outbound and inbound client outreach to acquire new relationships and grow existing ones.
• Coach and guide tellers and branch staff on product features, special programs, and referral processes.
• Educate clients on service and digital channels, leveraging technology and marketing tools to uncover needs.
• Present product offers and financial solutions appropriately and deliver a remarkable client experience.
• Follow Confidential Client policies, controls, and regulatory requirements; escalate compliance or control issues as needed.

Who We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

• 0–2 years of relevant experience; prior banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
• NMLS registration and Safe Act compliance required (or ability to register/maintain).
• Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and digital channels.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-focused, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a branch sales environment.
• Good judgment around risk, compliance, and client confidentiality.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $61,280 — $85,520 per year.
• In addition to salary, Confidential Client’s offerings may include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive/retention awards and competitive benefits such as medical, dental & vision coverage; retirement plans; life, accident, and disability insurance; and paid time off. Available offerings may vary by jurisdiction, job level, and date of hire.
