What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level branch Personal Banker role (SAFE Act / NMLS compliant) focused on delivering excellent client service, growing consumer and small-business relationships, and supporting branch sales goals.
- Work directly with consumer and small business clients to open accounts, process transactions, and deliver digital and in-branch solutions.
- Support business credit requests under $250,000; identify and refer larger lending opportunities to appropriate business banking teams.
- Cross-sell deposit, treasury, and related small-business products to deepen client relationships.
- Drive referral growth via Centers of Influence (COIs) and Member-Get-Member (MGM) or similar referral programs.
- Execute outbound and inbound client outreach to acquire new customers and expand existing relationships through targeted product offers.
- Coach and support teller and branch staff on product features, promotional programs, and client referral opportunities.
- Educate clients on digital channels and transactional solutions; leverage technology and marketing tools to identify product fit.
- Follow all client-account, compliance and regulatory policies; assess risk in business decisions and escalate control issues transparently.
- Maintain required SAFE Act / NMLS registration and remain in compliance with applicable regulations.
What We're Looking For
- 0–2 years relevant experience; previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
- SAFE Act / NMLS registration required (or ability to obtain/renew as required).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; professional, client-first mindset.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting proactive client outreach.
- Ability to recognize client needs, propose appropriate financial solutions, and work with internal partners to close referrals.
- Basic familiarity with branch systems and digital banking tools; willingness to learn new technology.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a regulated financial environment and follow policies and procedures.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range (full-time, primary location): $61,280.00 - $85,520.00 per year.
- In addition to base pay, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
