What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring part-time substitute Performance Coaches to support their corporate fitness center operations. This role is ideal for certified fitness professionals who need schedule flexibility and enjoy teaching group classes, delivering one-on-one coaching, and supporting facility operations.

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels
• Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized exercise programs, including for higher-risk clients
• Deliver one-on-one consultations and coaching to motivate clients and track progress
• Support incentive, health-promotion, and specialty programs to drive engagement
• Handle administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations (check-ins, program notes, basic reporting)
• Pick up shifts on an as-needed basis to cover classes, appointments, and site needs
• Perform other duties as assigned to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly

Who You Are

• Current certification from a nationally accredited industry association (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, or equivalent) is required
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required
• Proven experience leading and teaching group exercise classes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and client retention
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferred but not required
• Comfortable working with a broad range of clients, including those with special health considerations

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $15.00/hour to $25.00/hour (per pay transparency requirements). Actual pay will depend on site location, specialty, certifications, experience, and other business needs.
• Part-time benefits may be available subject to eligibility requirements. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package (health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k), paid time off — subject to eligibility).
• This is a contract, part-time position.
