What You’ll Do

The Confidential Client is seeking a Performance Analyst to calculate, validate, and report investment performance for client portfolios. This role supports Investment Consultants and Investment Operations by ensuring accurate performance calculations, reconciling custodial data, troubleshooting data issues with custodians and money managers, and producing client reporting packages on a proactive schedule.

  • Calculate, verify, and reconcile performance returns using custodial data feeds and statements
  • Troubleshoot data and calculation issues; coordinate resolutions with custodians and money managers
  • Build and execute client performance reporting structures and recurring reports
  • Collect portfolio characteristics and holdings data from external sources and custodial portals
  • Partner with Investment Operations to supply accurate inputs for client deliverables
  • Respond to client and consultant requests in a timely, professional manner
  • Support analysis requests for investment consultants and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Economics, or related concentration preferred
  • CIPM or CFA candidacy is a plus
  • Internship experience to ~3 years of experience in investment consulting, performance, or financial services preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and industry tools such as Advent Black Diamond, PARis, Canoe, and custodial portals is a plus
  • Fundamental knowledge of capital markets (domestic & international equity, fixed income, alternatives)
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and client service orientation

Work Model & Travel

  • Hybrid work model: typically three days in a professional office environment and two days remote
  • May travel up to 5% for training or business events

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position and operate a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to move throughout an office and lift or move equipment up to 25 pounds

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $65,000–$90,000 per year (final offer determined by experience, credentials, and location). This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
