Position summary

Confidential Client is seeking a Payer Operations & Transformation Consultant (Experienced Associate) to support payer-focused operations and transformation engagements. This role is based in Minneapolis, MN and is full-time with travel up to 60%. The role emphasizes operations consulting, process improvement, business data analytics, and change management within health services.

What You’ll Do

• Support client engagements on operations consulting projects focused on payer organizations
• Assist in developing and implementing business transformation strategies
• Conduct market and operational research to inform recommendations
• Apply business data analytics to enhance operational performance and decision-making
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align operational strategies with business objectives
• Implement and monitor quality standards to ensure client satisfaction
• Analyze performance metrics and identify areas for operational improvement
• Support change management activities to drive adoption of new processes and solutions

Qualifications (Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline required
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably in operations, consulting, or healthcare-related roles
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with business data
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Willingness to travel up to 60% as needed for client engagements

Preferred / Distinguishing Experience

• Degree or coursework in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Government/Public Policy, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, Organizational Management/Behavior, or Risk Management/Insurance
• Experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or transformation projects
• Familiarity with payer operations, healthcare operations strategy, and stakeholder engagement
• Demonstrated experience with change management and facilitating cross-functional initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $63,000 - $140,000 (actual pay dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws)
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus (where applicable)
