Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Partner Tax Preparation Advisor Associate to support private tax work within its Tax Services practice in Boston, MA. In this role you will focus on partnership, trust, and personal income tax preparation and compliance for high-net-worth individuals and privately owned businesses. You will gather and validate client data, prepare return schedules and workpapers, and communicate clearly with team members and client contacts to help deliver accurate, timely filings.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare partnership tax returns and related supporting schedules for private clients and privately owned businesses
- Gather, organize, and validate tax data from client records, prior returns, and internal sources
- Draft tax documents, calculations, and workpapers to support filing positions and compliance activities
- Reconcile account balances and review financial information to identify discrepancies and follow-up items
- Research tax rules, legislation updates, and filing requirements to support accurate preparation work
- Apply tax compliance and documentation standards across personal income tax, trust tax, and partnership tax matters
- Monitor deadlines and status updates to support timely completion of recurring tax preparation tasks
- Communicate findings, questions, and needed information to team members and client contacts in a clear and professional manner
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 1 year of relevant tax or accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $50,500 - $112,500. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
- All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, holiday pay, and family/medical leave (program specifics vary by location).
