Overview

Confidential Client is seeking detail-oriented, fluent English speakers to work remotely as Part-Time Response Raters. In this contractor role you will review and evaluate AI-generated media (text, images, video, and audio), participate in live scenario conversations with voice models, and write clear, evidence-based feedback that helps improve AI systems.

This role is remote (telecommute) and listed for Detroit, MI (the hiring location on record). Candidates should be comfortable with short, focused tasks completed on a flexible schedule. This is a 1099 contract opportunity.

What You’ll Do

• Hold live scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate each exchange for naturalness, clarity, and usefulness.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and determine which output better matches the prompt.
• Inspect outputs carefully (zoom in, replay) to spot issues such as distorted anatomy, flicker, incorrect text, or audio/video mismatches.
• Rate outputs across dimensions such as adherence, quality, and realism.
• Write short, specific explanations in clear English that reference what you observed.

Common Tasks

• Image evaluations — compare two AI-generated images for the same prompt and pick the better one.
• Video evaluations — rank videos against a prompt or edited videos against source clips.
• Video caption labeling — split first-person clips into actions and produce precise captions starting from an AI draft.
• Audio & voice evaluations — rate generated speech for naturalness, pronunciation, and voice similarity; some tasks require short recorded voice notes.

Ideal Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom when something seems off.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and roleplaying realistic conversational scenarios.
• Able to write concise, evidence-based explanations.
• Comfortable making a clear choice when both options have flaws.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Payment & Schedule

• Project work: earn up to USD $15 per hour (rates vary by project, skill assessment, and location).
• Additional incentives: contributors average +7.5% through project “Missions”; top performers see larger boosts.
• Payment schedule: weekly, via PayPal, AirTM, or ACH (payments processed on Tuesdays for the prior pay period).
• Work on your own schedule with no minimum hours — pick tasks that fit your availability.
