What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Parking Planner to support parking and mobility projects. The role focuses on data-driven planning, field work, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver operational and planning recommendations.
- Conduct parking utilization counts, occupancy studies, inventory audits, and field observations.
- Collect, organize, and analyze parking and mobility data to support demand and operational assessments.
- Assist with parking demand analyses, operational assessments, and planning studies.
- Research zoning requirements, parking regulations, and industry best practices under senior staff guidance.
- Prepare reports, technical memoranda, spreadsheets, graphics, and client presentations.
- Contribute to development of parking recommendations, implementation strategies, and project deliverables.
- Support parking technology, mobility, and restoration projects, including functional design assistance.
- Assist with proposals, cost estimates, and coordination on multidisciplinary projects.
- Travel periodically to project sites for fieldwork and stakeholder meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in urban planning, civil engineering, architecture with an infrastructure/urban design focus, or a related field.
- Entry-level role — recent graduates and early-career professionals encouraged to apply.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively on geospatial workflows and data analysis.
- Comfortable with field work and basic data-collection tools; attention to detail and initiative required.

Physical Demands
Work is primarily performed in an office setting with periodic field work. Typical demands include sitting for extended periods, using hands/fingers to operate computer equipment, and occasional travel to project sites. Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base salary: $63,342 per year (estimated).

Location & Travel
This position is based in University Park, TX. Candidates should expect periodic travel to project sites and stakeholder meetings as required by project work.
