Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Paralegal to support federal real estate acquisition activities for government-funded projects. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Castle Hills, TX (San Antonio area). The position centers on document preparation and control, title review support, landowner coordination, and compliance with federal/state acquisition requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Support real estate acquisition activities involving purchase, lease, easement, exchange, or donation of property
- Prepare, review, and organize real estate and legal documents (deeds, leases, easements, right-of-entry agreements, closing packages)
- Track and maintain parcel, landowner, and property records across multiple projects
- Coordinate with landowners, attorneys, title companies, surveyors, and government stakeholders
- Assist with title review, due diligence documentation, and resolution of outstanding property issues
- Maintain accurate project files, correspondence logs, and document control systems
- Manage landowner communications — mailings, notices, meeting coordination, and follow-up
- Attend meetings (virtual and in-person), take notes, and prepare summaries and action items
- Track schedules, milestones, and deadlines; maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and client reports
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local real estate and acquisition policies
- Identify risks, issues, and process gaps and recommend efficiency improvements
- Provide general project and administrative support; other duties as assigned
Who We’re Looking For / Qualifications
- 2–3 years paralegal, real estate, or legal support experience (strong entry-level candidates considered)
- Experience supporting real estate transactions, land acquisition, or property documentation preferred
- Experience with federal, state, or municipal clients is a plus
- Strong document-management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
- Ability to review and track legal and real estate documents with high accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to obtain a public trust clearance

Education & Experience
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, business administration, real estate, or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)

Location & Work Arrangement
- This is an in-office, full-time role based in Castle Hills, TX (San Antonio area). Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this position. Candidates should be willing to relocate to the San Antonio area if not local.
