What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an Outside Property Associate Claim Representative. This is a field-facing, remote-enabled training role focused on 1st-party property claims. You will complete a structured 9–12 month development program and work under close supervision while gaining experience to progress toward independent claims handling.

  • Participate in structured training (virtual, classroom, on-the-job) covering policies, claim processes, systems, and estimating.
  • Review, investigate, and document 1st-party property claims under supervision.
  • Gather facts from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party vendors.
  • Learn to interpret policy language and apply coverage determinations.
  • Establish scope of building and contents damage and develop written or computer-assisted estimates.
  • Maintain timely, professional communication with insureds and internal stakeholders.
  • Keep accurate records in the claim management system.
  • Adopt and adapt to new digital tools, AI-assisted workflows, and system upgrades.
  • Obtain and maintain required Insurance License(s) and/or UAS Remote Pilot Certification when applicable.
  • Participate in the Catastrophe Response Program (may require temporary deployment to other states).
  • Inspect properties as needed; role may require carrying and climbing ladders, roof work, and accessing confined spaces during catastrophe deployments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

  • Salary range (national market range): $52,600 — $86,800 per year.
  • Final pay will reflect candidate experience, role scope, and location.
  • Employees may be eligible for performance-based cash incentives.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory (Hudson area / Braintree, MA).
  • Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law (typically within three months of hire).
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and learning claims/estimating software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment within established authority.
  • Basic conflict resolution skills and a customer-service focus.
  • Physical capability to safely access and inspect property as described.

Additional Information

  • Location & work setup: Remote-enabled field role based in the Braintree, MA area with work at residential and commercial locations, mobile work, and visits to the nearest office when required.
