Position overview

Confidential Client is seeking a full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join a busy outpatient clinic in West Palm Beach, FL. In this role you will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, sports-related, chronic pain, and select neurological conditions using evidence-based interventions and person-centered care.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations including history, functional assessment, and goal-setting.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Deliver hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and other outpatient interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment based on outcomes and feedback.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the EHR.
• Communicate treatment goals and plans clearly to patients and caregivers.
• Coordinate care and refer to other providers as clinically indicated.
• Participate in team meetings, quality-improvement initiatives, and community education events.
• Pursue continuing education to maintain and expand clinical skills.

Patient population / caseload

Patients include adults recovering from orthopedic surgery, athletes with sports injuries, individuals with chronic pain, and some patients with neurological diagnoses. You’ll build therapeutic relationships focused on restoring function and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (per source posting).
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Florida (required).
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR) certification (required).
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to document clearly and efficiently in an electronic health record (EHR).

• Clinical internships or outpatient practicum experience.
• Familiarity with outpatient orthopedic protocols and outcome measures.
• Experience using EHR documentation systems.

• Salary: USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year (dependent on experience and qualifications).
