Confidential Client is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join their rehabilitation team in Winchester, VA. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered outpatient orthopedic care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to help patients recover from injury, surgery, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Work Environment
This is an onsite role at a modern outpatient clinic in Winchester, VA. The clinic operates Monday–Friday and is equipped with advanced modalities and therapeutic tools to support orthopedic rehabilitation. Expect a team-based setting with opportunities for mentorship and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Explain evaluation findings and treatment goals to patients and caregivers.
- Deliver evidence-based orthopedic treatment interventions and adjust plans based on patient progress.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress; maintain timely, accurate clinical records.
- Lead discharge planning and provide clear follow-up and home-exercise recommendations.
- Mentor student interns and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
- Support initiatives that improve patient access and the overall patient experience.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The clinic serves a diverse outpatient orthopedic population including patients recovering from sports injuries, post-operative conditions (orthopedic surgery), and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Therapists tailor care to individual needs and functional goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) strongly preferred.
- Current, active license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR) certification (current).
- Authorization to work in the United States; employment may be contingent on background check and license verification.
Preferred Experience
- Internship or clinical rotation experience in outpatient orthopedics is strongly preferred.
- Experience with outpatient assessment tools and electronic clinical documentation systems is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000 per year.
