Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations and establish functional baselines.
- Create individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities as appropriate.
- Deliver patient education, home exercise programs, and injury prevention guidance.
- Document thoroughly in electronic health records and maintain timely clinical notes.
- Reassess and modify plans of care based on objective progress and patient goals.
- Communicate and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members and referring providers.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, mentorship, and peer review.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Work with a varied caseload including athletes (sports injuries), postoperative patients, and older adults with degenerative or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. The role emphasizes restoring function and improving quality of life.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (entry-level) required; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
