Overview

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Engineers for a Campus Graduate program in Operations. These full-time, onsite roles support manufacturing, maintenance, environmental health & safety (EH&S), and emergency services & security across facilities located in Louisiana and Texas. Estimated compensation: $67,761 per year (estimated).

Locations: multiple U.S. Gulf Coast sites (Hahnville, LA; Freeport, TX; Texas City, TX; Oyster Creek, TX, and others).

What You’ll Do

You will join operations teams as a technical resource supporting safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Responsibilities vary by engineering discipline and assignment and may include:

• Support daily manufacturing and process operations, including troubleshooting and optimization
• Analyze process performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities and reliability projects
• Contribute to capital projects: planning, implementation, and start-up support
• Assist with equipment design, installation, and technology implementation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives: yield improvement, cost optimization and waste reduction
• Apply safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance practices in all activities
• Collaborate with operators, maintenance, engineers, and cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals

Discipline-specific examples:

• Chemical Engineer: process troubleshooting, process control, yield & waste reduction, safety and environmental performance improvements.
• Mechanical Engineer: maintenance & reliability engineering, failure analysis, piping & vessel support, equipment reliability projects.
• Electrical Engineer: power distribution, MCC/transformer/switchgear design, instrumentation troubleshooting, motor control and reliability.
• Other majors (Civil, Industrial, Materials): role-specific technical responsibilities aligned to department needs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Materials Engineering, or related engineering discipline
• Graduation no later than September 2027
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis (Confidential Client is not able to provide visa sponsorship)
• No more than two (2) years of relevant full-time work experience post-graduation

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale)
• Enrollment in or graduation from an ABET-accredited engineering program
• Internship, co-op, or project experience in manufacturing, process, or maintenance roles
