Program Overview
Confidential Client is hiring for a 24-month Distribution Center Operations Development Program beginning June 2027 in Lake Dallas, TX. This immersive Operations Leadership Development Program prepares high-potential graduates for operations leadership roles in supply chain and distribution through progressive, hands‑on rotations across inbound, outbound, inventory control/quality, wire cutting, supply chain services, and related functions.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in a structured 24-month Operations Leadership Development Program with rotational assignments across distribution center functions.
- Lead and support operational improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies, analyzing data, and developing practical solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects (Yellow Belt / Green Belt opportunities).
- Collaborate with operations leaders, supervisors, and cross-functional partners to drive workforce management, safety, quality, productivity, and inventory performance.
- Attend leadership development sessions, speaker events, trainings, and networking opportunities that provide exposure to senior leaders.
- Support daily business objectives and customer service commitments while gaining experience leading people and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership potential with initiative, problem-solving ability, and eagerness to grow in Supply Chain Operations.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (completed or expected prior to program start date).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication; proven ability to collaborate across teams and organizational levels.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and perform in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree concentration in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Distribution, Business, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Management, or related field.
- Previous internship, co‑op, part‑time job, or leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or related settings.
- Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, retail, or other fast-paced operational environment.
- Exposure to process improvement, data analysis, operational metrics, or project work.
- Demonstrated leadership through extracurriculars, athletics, volunteer work, or previous roles.
Compensation & Employment Details
- Estimated pay: $35,544 per year (estimated).
- Employment type: Full-time; Contract.
- Program start: June 2027 (24-month program).
- Location: Lake Dallas, TX — on-site rotations in distribution/warehouse operations.
