Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Operations Coordinator to support utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs with a focus on commercial building systems and energy-efficient technologies. This entry-level, full-time role combines operational support, application processing, data analysis, and cross-team coordination to ensure programs meet quality, compliance, and timeline objectives. This role is remote (telecommute) and associated with Edgewood, SC.
What You’ll Do
- Support the evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility-sponsored energy efficiency projects.
- Review incoming project applications and submittals for program policy and procedure compliance.
- Assign and track applications through processing workflows.
- Coordinate quality-control follow-up on inspections and customer surveys as needed.
- Work closely with IT, Reporting, Marketing, and Customer Care to resolve issues and share best practices.
- Conduct basic analyses to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Document processes, update tracking tools, and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Respond to contractor and customer inquiries with clear, timely communication.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field OR Associate’s degree plus a minimum of 2 years’ related experience.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; comfortable with data cleanup, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication; experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with application review, compliance tracking, or project intake workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the utility market (energy efficiency, demand response, distributed energy resources).
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Experience with SharePoint Lists, Power Automate, or other Microsoft 365 automation tools.
- Prior experience supporting energy or environmental programs is a plus.
Workplace & Location
- Role type: Full-time, remote (telecommute) with association to Edgewood, SC.
- Typical hours: Standard full-time schedule; occasional flexibility required for project timelines.
- Equipment and remote-work requirements will be shared by Confidential Client during onboarding.
Compensation
- Pay range (full-time): $50,364.00 - $85,618.00 per year. Final compensation is based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location-specific factors.
