Role Overview
Confidential Client (Public Transportation) is seeking an entry-level Operations Analyst I to support capital program administration, reporting, and operational analysis. This full-time position is based in Elkins Park, PA. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and monitor weekly and monthly financial and statistical reports.
- Collaborate with team members to collect, clean, and analyze operational data.
- Visualize data using charts, graphs, infographics and basic dashboards (Power BI or similar).
- Establish basic key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business decisions and service delivery.
- Process and reconcile information with other Operations analysts.
- Draft clear presentations and briefings for senior staff.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate project activities and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Assist with development and delivery of training materials; may provide oversight to interns or co-op students.
- Perform other duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, data analytics, finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; basic understanding of data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and support multiple projects.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range (posted): $59,540 – $74,412 per year.
