What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an Operations Analyst (entry level) to support legal and general business operations. This service-oriented role partners with business units to improve processes, reporting, and operational performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Manage referral intake, service and firm transfer processes, scheduled reporting, and post-implementation support; escalate issues as needed.
  • Serve as a primary contact for business units: gather requirements, document needs, and deliver process/reporting improvements.
  • Evaluate processes and system capabilities to identify efficiency gains and support data-driven decisions.
  • Compile status reports, dashboards, and analytics that integrate performance metrics for business-unit productivity.
  • Participate in quality-improvement efforts: data cleanup, maintain reporting instructions, user-acceptance testing, and create guides/training materials.
  • Document workflows, meeting outcomes, and procedures; contribute to automation and firm-wide initiatives.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and perform multiple functions to ensure consistent service and performance.

Compensation

  • Estimated salary: $61,590 per year (estimated).

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, legal studies, finance, or related field preferred).
  • Experience in administrative, legal operations, or data/reporting roles (entry-level or internship experience accepted).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; reliable in task completion.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and deliver timely, accurate work with limited supervision.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in business, operations, legal studies, or related field (Associate’s or Bachelor’s).
  • Experience with business analytics, legal operations, financial services, or process improvement.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Excel (advanced functions) and BI tools (Power BI or similar).
  • Familiarity with SQL or other data-querying skills; experience with data analysis and automation.
  • Experience in process mapping, requirements gathering, and data quality management.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms for data storage/management.
  • Background in the legal industry (lender services, foreclosure, bankruptcy) is a plus.
  • Ability to use data-driven insights to improve quality, efficiency, and performance.
