What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an Operations Analyst to join its analytics-driven operations team. In this entry-level / campus-hire role (offers targeted for May 2027), you will analyze business processes, identify actionable improvements, and support analytic solutions across Sales, Loan Originations, Customer Service, Collections, and Loss Prevention.

  • Provide improvements and modifications to business processes through analysis of risk, default probability, capacity needs, and internal cost efficiencies
  • Assist with building simulation tools for Monte Carlo analysis and other quantitative models
  • Use analytics to drive business enhancements that improve customer experience
  • Gather and synthesize market research to strengthen the company’s competitive position
  • Assist with key control processes and administration of operational reports
  • Provide support for team-owned databases and applications
  • Prepare and present analytical findings to management and senior leaders in clear, business-focused language
  • Help maintain market and industry data to inform strategy and product decisions

Qualifications (Required & Preferred)

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present technical results in business-friendly terms
  • Proficient computer skills and a quick learner for new applications
  • Self-starter with demonstrated initiative: identify needs, recommend improvements, implement changes, and measure outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively across all levels and handle confidential information professionally

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python
  • Prior coursework or projects involving simulation, risk modeling, or quantitative analysis

Work Schedule & Employment Requirements

  • Employment type: Full-time (exempt). Typical hours Monday–Friday, roughly 8:30 AM–6:00 PM; business needs may require flexibility, overtime, evenings, or weekends
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required
  • This position does not require travel
  • Role involves frequent computer use and periods of stationary work; manual dexterity and motor coordination for standard office equipment are expected

  • Estimated salary: $64,979 per year (estimated)
