What You’ll Do

In this outpatient PRN Occupational Therapist role you will provide patient-centered evaluation, treatment, education, and documentation as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Typical responsibilities include:

• Perform evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document progress.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions focused on functional outcomes for outpatient populations.
• Monitor, supervise, and delegate appropriate tasks to COTAs and therapy aides.
• Communicate treatment plans and progress with patients, families, and the care team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with regulatory and payer documentation requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and coordinate care transitions when needed.
• Follow safety protocols and infection-control procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited Occupational Therapy program; graduation from an accredited OT school required.
• Successful completion of an accredited clinical internship.
• Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in Michigan (required upon hire).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required upon hire.
• Previous clinical / rehabilitation experience (preferred).
• Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills.

Work Schedule & Location

• Primary location: SITE - Ludington Hospital - 1 Atkinson Dr, Ludington, MI.
• Employment type: Part-time / PRN (Contractor classification may apply).
• Shift: Day shift.
• Weekly scheduled hours: ~4 (PRN; hours may vary).
• Typical hours of work: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (flexible within the department schedule).
• Days worked: Monday through Sunday as scheduled; variable weekends.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated pay (Ad data): approximately $47,251 per year (estimated). Actual pay may vary by experience, shift, and employment classification.
